Dr. Keith Meister to Perform Elbow Surgery on Rangers Pitcher Colby Lewis

Keith Meister, MD, director of Texas Metroplex Institute for Sports Medicine & Orthopedics in Arlington and head team physician for the Texas Ranger, will perform elbow surgery on pitcher Colby Lewis, according to a Star Telegram report.

The procedure will be performed to repair a torn tendon in Mr. Lewis’s right elbow. He is expected to be out of play for the rest of the season.
