Dr. Katherine Boyd Performs Finger Surgery on Philadelphia Flyer Claude Giroux

Katherine Boyd, MD, performed finger surgery on the Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux after the player incurred an injury while playing golf, according to an NHL.com Network report.

Dr. Boyd performed the surgery at Ottawa Civic Hospital in Canada. The procedure was performed to repair extensor tendons in the finger.
