1. Mr. Melancon had surgery on his right forearm Sept. 12, 2017. As he was ramping up for the regular season, he complained of discomfort in his forearm.
2. Although an MRI came back clean, he received the injection to treat a pronator in his right forearm.
3. It’s unclear when Mr. Melancon will return.
4. Dr. Hackel is a sports medicine physician at Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.
