Dr. John Wilckens Performs Knee Surgery on Baltimore Oriole Wilson Betemit

On Thursday, John Wilckens, MD, performed successful knee surgery on the Baltimore Orioles’ third baseman Wilson Betemit, according to a Rant Sports report.

Dr. Wilckens, Baltimore Orioles team physician, performed the surgery on the player’s hyperextended right knee.

Dr. Wilckens is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
