Dr. John Steubs to Perform Knee Surgery on Minnesota Twin Josh Willingham

John Steubs, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, will perform knee surgery on the Minnesota Twins outfielder Josh Willingham, according to a StarTribune report.

Dr. Steubs, the Twins director of medical services, will perform the surgery to repair a torn meniscus in the player’s left knee.

The outfielder is expected to need four to six weeks to recover from the procedure.
