Dr. Young earned his medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine and then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Young went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Denver, during which time he served as a team physician for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.
