The lasers are used to treat chronic pain and have a success rate of 90 percent. Lasers deliver light energy units called photons to the damaged cells. The body absorbs the laser light in a way that decreases inflammation, swelling and pain by accelerating the production of Adenosine 5′-triphosphate, which plays a major role in pain reception.
