Dr. James Andrews to Perform Knee Surgery on Browns Rookie Trent Richardson

The Cleveland Browns’ rookie running back Trent Richardson will undergo arthroscopic surgery to remove loose cartilage in his left knee, according to a USA Today report.

James Andrews, MD, of Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., will perform the procedure. A definite timeline for Mr. Richardson’s return was not provided.
