Dr. James Andrews to Perform Elbow Surgery on Arizona Diamondback Matt Reynolds

Dr. James Andrews, founding partner and medical director of the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla., is scheduled to perform elbow surgery on the Arizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Matt Reynolds, according to an azcentral.com report.

Dr. Andrews will perform the procedure to address the torn and strained ulnar collateral ligament in the player’s left elbow.

 

The pitcher will most likely miss the entire 2014 season due to rehabilitation.
