Dr. James Andrews to give Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Clay Buchholz 2nd opinion — 4 notes

James Andrews, MD, of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine will offer Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Clay Buchholz a second opinion on his throwing arm next week, according to Philly.com.

1. Dr. Andrews will offer Mr. Clay Buchholz a second opinion on Monday, April 17.

 

2. Mr. Buchholz underwent an MRI on Wednesday, April 12, revealing the injury.

 

3. The partial tear in Mr. Buchholz’s right flexor pronator mass may end his season.

 

4. Mr. Buchholz suffered a similar injury in 2015.
