Dr. James Andrews Performs UCL Reconstruction on Pitcher Mike Dennhardt

James Andrews, MD, founder of Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala., recently performed ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction on Cincinnati Reds pitcher Mike Dennhardt, according to a report from The Record.

Dr. Andrews performed the UCL reconstruction, or Tommy John surgery, on the first-year pitcher in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
