Dr. James Andrews Performs Shoulder Surgery on Golfer Chris Tidland

James Andrews, MD, founder of Andrews Institute of Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla., performed shoulder surgery on professional golfer Chris Tidland, according to a Daily O’Collegian report.

Dr. Andrews performed the surgery to repair a torn labrum in Mr. Tidland’s right shoulder. Mr. Tidland is expected to return to play in January and will compete on the Nationwide Tour.
