Dr. James Andrews Performs Knee Surgery on Cincinnati Bengals’ Terrell Owens

James Andrews, MD, of the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Ala., recently performed knee surgery on Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Terrell Owens, according to a Washington Post report.

Mr. Owens tore cartilage in his left knee during an early December game but continued playing for two weeks before aggravating the injury. He was examined by Dr. Andrews on Monday and was scheduled for surgery later that day.
