Dr. James Andrews Performs Hamstring Surgery on Milwaukee Brewer Rickie Weeks

James Andrews, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, recently performed successful hamstring surgery on the Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks, according to a CBS Sports report.

Dr. Andrews performed the procedure to repair the player’s left hamstring.

 

The second baseman is expected to need four to six months to recover.
