Dr. James Andrews Performs Elbow Surgery on Toronto Blue Jay Josh Johnson

James Andrews, MD, co-founder of the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla., has performed elbow surgery on the Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Josh Johnson, according to a SB Nation report.

Dr. Andrews performed the procedure to remove bone spurs from the player’s right elbow.

 

The pitcher is expected to become a free agent during the offseason.
