James Andrews, MD, will perform ‘Tommy John’ elbow surgery on San Diego Padres starting pitcher Josh Johnson, according to a MLB report.

Dr. Andrews practices at Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He will perform surgery on the ulnar collateral ligament in Mr. Johnson’s right elbow, according to the report.
