Mr. Iverson now plays for the Besiktas of the Turkish League. The right calf injury was a result of a calcium deposit with additional secondary bleeding. Mr. Iverson’s calf can be healed with rehabilitation and an anti-inflammatory injection, Dr. Andrews said in the report.
Dr. Andrews also recommended Mr. Iverson stay off the court for four to six weeks to recover from the injury.
