Dr. Isaac Mitchell Performs Reverse Shoulder Replacement for Live TV Audience

Isaac Mitchell, MD, of Tri-County Orthopedic Center in Leesburge, Fla., performed a specialized reverse shoulder replacement during a live broadcast, according to The Daily Commercial.

Dr. Mitchell performed the procedure in New Orleans during the National Medical Association’s convention this week. Zimmer, a global company specializing in musculoskeletal devices, asked Dr. Mitchell to conduct the virtual presentation.

Dr. Mitchell performs an average of 60 reverse shoulder replacements each year to help patients with arthritis or poor function.
