Dr. Nelson focuses on pediatric and adult orthopedic conditions and has expertise in the repair, replacement or reconstruction of the hand, knee, shoulder, foot, hip, wrist, ankle and elbow. He completed his orthopedic residency at the Minneapolis-based University of Minnesota. He is board-certified and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, according to the report.
