Orthopedic surgeon E. Edward Khalfayan, MD, performed arthroscopic knee surgery on Seahawks’ Luke Wilson, according to Seattle Pi.

1. Dr. Khalfayan performed the procedure at Seattle Surgery Center.

 

2. Dr. Khalfayan is the head team physician for the Seattle Seahawks, serving as an orthopedic surgeon for the team since 1996. Dr. Khalfayan also is the medical director and team orthopedic surgeon for the Seattle Mariners.

 

3. He is a clinical instructor at University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and is an editorial reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

 

4. Dr. Khalfayan earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and completed fellowship training in sports medicine at University of Philadelphia.
