Dr. Donald Sheridan Performs Thumb Surgery on Boston Red Sox Second Baseman Dustin Pedroia

Donald Sheridan, MD, recently performed surgery on the Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in the player’s left thumb, according to a report by The Boston Globe.

Dr. Sheridan holds a hand surgery fellowship from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

 

The procedure was performed in Scottsdale, Ariz.
