Dr. Dierick Sparks to Serve on AOSSM Council of Delegates

Dierick Sparks, MD, of Sparks Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, was appointed to serve on the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine’s council of delegates, according to a report from The Gadsden Times.

Dr. Sparks earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. His additional training includes a fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is currently working on completing his sports medicine board certification exams.
