Bono sustained several fractures after undergoing a bicycle accident Sunday. Dr. Lorich is the associate director of the orthopedic trauma Service at Hospital for Special Surgery and chief of the orthopedic trauma service at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He performed surgeries to repair Bono’s sustained injuries, including a facial fracture involving his left eye socket, his left shoulder blade fractured in three places and a left elbow fracture that left the bone in six pieces, according to the report.
Dr. Lorich’s clinical interests include complex intra-articular fractures of the tibial plateau, proximal humerus, elbow and ankle.
