Dr. Schmidt has been on the Bowl’s board of directors since 1993, and he currently serves as president of the Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio. He serves as a team physician for the San Antonio Spurs and other local teams.
Dr. Schmidt also participated in the development of the Texas Center for Athletes.
