2. Dr. Halsey is also a professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Vermont.

 

3. He is an avid researcher with much of his research centering around patient outcomes, health policy, arthroplasty and arthritis care.

 

4. He was recently named second vice president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He will serve as its president in 2018.
