Dr. David Davis Wins Sports Medicine Research Award

A. David Davis, MD, of Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics in Exeter, N.H., has won the Aircast Award for Basic Science at the 2012 American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine’s annual meeting.

Written in collaboration with Mark Steiner, MD, the paper came at the conclusion of significant research on ACL reconstruction during his fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

Dr. Davis is an orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy. He specializes in the treatment of knee, shoulder and hip injuries.
