Dr. David Altchek Performs Shoulder Surgery on Cleveland Indians’ Trevor Crowe

David Altchek, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, recently performed shoulder surgery on Cleveland Indians outfielder Trevor Crowe, according to a report from The News-Herald.

Dr. Altchek performed an arthroscopic debridement of Mr. Crowe’s right shoulder. Mr. Crowe will be sidelined for at least four months, and will be able to start throwing again in eight weeks after surgery.
