Dr. David Altchek Performs Elbow Surgery on New York Met Jenrry Mejia

Dr. David Altchek, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, recently performed elbow surgery on the New York Mets right-handed pitcher Jenrry Mejia, according to a Fox Sports report.

Dr. Altchek performed the procedure to remove bone spurs from the player’s elbow.

 

Dr. Altchek is the co-chief of sports medicine and shoulder service at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
