Dr. Daniel Cooper to Perform Surgery on Baltimore Oriole Brian Roberts

Daniel Cooper, MD, will perform surgery on Baltimore Oriole Brian Roberts to repair the second baseman’s right hamstring, according to an USA Today report.

Dr. Cooper, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, practices in Dallas. He currently serves as the head team physician of the Dallas Cowboys.

Mr. Roberts is expected to need six weeks to recover from the procedure.
