Dr. Claude T. Moorman III Performs Shoulder Surgery on Duke Athlete

Claude T. Moorman, III, MD, professor and vice chair of orthopedic surgery at Duke University and director of Duke Sports Medicine, performed shoulder surgery on Duke freshman safety Corbin McCarthy, according to a Go Duke report.

Dr. Moorman performed the procedure to repair a labral tear in Mr. McCarthy’s left shoulder. He will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
