Dr. Ahmad is the head team physician for the Yankees and professor of orthopedic surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City.
He is board-certified in orthopedic sports medicine and specializes in knee ACL, cartilage injuries, Tommy John surgery and labral tears among other sports-related injuries.
Dr. Ahmad earned his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine in New York City and completed residencies at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/CUMC and New York Orthopedic Hospital.
