1. Mr. Severino has been on the injured list since early March with rotator cuff inflammation. Manager Aaron Boone said Mr. Severino “didn’t feel great” after attempting to perform baseball-related activities.

2. The team sent him to Dr. Ahmad for an MRI and further evaluation.

3. There is no timetable on his rehabilitation.

4. Dr. Ahmad is an orthopedic surgeon at New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is the head team physician for the Yankees and New York City Football Club.
