1. Dr. Smith is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who is trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy.
2. He earned his degree from the Medical College of Georgia, before he had an internship and a residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, in Chattanooga. He then had a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia.
3. Dr. Smith is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
