Dr. Brian McKeon Works With NBA’s Shaquille O’Neal After Achilles Tendon Inflammation

Brian McKeon, MD, team physician for the Boston Celtics, has been working with Celtics player Shaquille O’Neal to return him to play after suffering an Achilles tendon inflammation, according to a Boston Herald report.

Mr. O’Neal hopes to return to play in time for the NBA playoffs. He has been working with Dr. McKeon twice per day for treatment. Mr. O’Neal has spent time rehabbing the injury and Dr. McKeon wants to make sure he is 100 percent healed before returning to the game.
