Dr. Brian Cole performs knee surgery on Chicago Bulls’ Doug McDermott

Brian Cole, MD, was tapped to perform knee surgery on Chicago Bulls’ Doug McDermott, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Dr. Cole is the section head of the Cartilage Restoration Center at Rush in Chicago and practices with Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. He focuses on sports medicine, cartilage transplantation, arthroscopy and shoulder, elbow and knee surgery. He repaired a small meniscus tear in Mr. McDermott’s right knee, according to the report.
