Dr. Brian Cohen Implants First Arthrex Reverse Universe Device in US

Yesterday, Brian Cohen, MD, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, implanted the first Arthrex Reverse Universe shoulder device in the U.S., according to a WBEX report.

Dr. Cohen, chair of Adena Bone and Joint Center in Chillicothe, Ohio, performed the procedure during an international surgery simulcast hosted by Adena Health System.

The Arthrex Reverse Universe is designed to replace the ball and socket of a patient’s rotator cuff.
