Dr. Brett Kindle completes milestone carpel tunnel release procedure

Brett Kindle, MD, and his medical staff successfully completed the 150th ultrasound-guided carpel tunnel release at Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, according to the group’s Twitter account.

Three things to know:

1. The ultrasound guided CTR procedure involves the surgeon using the device to navigate and cut the transverse carpal ligament.

2. Dr. Kindle specializes in ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine, musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries among others.
