Dr. Brandon Larkin Presents Results of Concussion Program to Local Board of Education

Brandon D. Larkin, MD, a sports medicine physician with St. Peters (Mo.) Bone & Joint, has presented results from last year’s concussion program to Fort Zumwalt’s board of education, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.

Dr. Larkin manages the concussion program and found 118 recorded concussions among football and soccer athletes and cheerleaders at local high schools. In addition, there were 13 concussions among wrestlers and nine concussions among basketball players. Forty percent of concussions were suffered by football players, according to the report.
