Dr. Thompson performs arthroscopic surgery and has previous experience as a team physician for the Auburn University football team. He earned his medical degree at Albany (N.Y.) Medical College and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. His additional training includes a fellowship in sports medicine at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Fla.
