Mr. Theis had a loose body in his left knee. The team does not expect his rehabilitation will affect his ability to participate in 2021’s training camp.
Dr. Schena is the chief medical officer and head team physician for the Celtics. He sees patients at Brighton, Mass.-based Pro Sports Orthopedics.
He earned his medical degree at Worcester-based University of Massachusetts Medical School, completed his residency at Worcester-based UMass Memorial Medical Center and completed a fellowship at Boston-based New England Baptist Hospital.
