She won the award for outstanding service, leadership and contributions to ASIPP and interventional pain management.
Dr. Trescot is a fellow of Interventional Pain Practice and current US Chair for the World Institute of Pain. She has authored more than 50 articles and textbook chapters for professional publications, and her book Pain Wise is slated for publication this fall.
Dr. Trescot earned her medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed her residency in anesthesiology at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. Her additional training includes a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
