Dr. Allan Rosenthal volunteers at Connecticut Special Olympics — 5 notes

At the Special Olympics on June 11, Allan I. Rosenthal, DPM, provided medical care for participating athletes. New Haven-based Southern Connecticut State University held the events.

Here are five notes:

 

1. At the events, podiatrist Dr. Rosenthal assessed Special Olympic athletes to determine if the athletes suffered from foot and athletic problems.

 

2. Currently, Dr. Rosenthal serves on the surgical staff of the Ridgefield (Conn.) Surgical Center.

 

3. He also runs the Advanced Foot Care Center practice in Ridgefield, Conn.

 

4. Dr. Rosenthal is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Sports Medicine.

 

5. Dr. Rosenthal earned his medical degree from Temple College of Pediatric Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his postgraduate training at Stamford (Conn.) Hospital.
