1. Dr. Anz’s involvement with Team USA began in 2011, during his fellowship at Vail, Colo.-based The Steadman Clinic.
2. Team USA has a group of 10 to 20 physicians in its physician pool, each of whom is matched with one event per year.
3. In the past three years, Dr. Anz has covered events in Germany and Canada.
4. Outside of physician duties with Team USA, Dr. Anz serves as a team physician for football teams at Pensacola, Fla.-based Escambia High School and Alabama-based Auburn University.
