Sermo also reported that 95 percent of nearly 11,000 physicians polled on its site said the AMA did not speak for them when the organization recently endorsed the U.S. House’s health reform bill that, among other things, calls for a controversial government-run health plan.
Sermo said its Web platform helps physicians aggregate observations from their daily practice and, through their large numbers, rapidly challenge or corroborate each other’s opinions.
