DISC Sports & Spine Center Offers Minimally Invasive Therapy for Migraines

Marina del Rey, Calif.-based DISC Sports & Spine Center announced that it is offering a new, minimally invasive treatment to relieve migraine pain called Neuroaugmentation.

Neuroaugmentation involves implanting electrodes beneath the skin to stop nerves communicating the headache causing pain signal to the brain. Standiford Helm, MD, is leading the collaborative team offering the new therapy.
