D.I.S.C. Sports and Spine Center Becomes Official Medical Services Provider of U.S. Olympic Committee

The United States Olympic Committee and D.I.S.C. Sports and Spine Center, based in Marina Del Rey, Calif., announced a strategic partnership in which D.I.S.C. will become an Official Medical Services Provider through the 2012 Olympic Games and will collaborate to develop a comprehensive sports medicine program for American athletes, according to a release from the USOC and D.I.S.C.

Under the partnership, D.I.S.C. will administer USOC medical records and streamline medical care, allowing athletes, the physicians and USOC medical personnel to easily track and follow the care of athletes from any location in the world, according to the release. The program will provide easy access to medical history, treatment plans and performance data in order to ensure comprehensive care and communication.
