Three things to know:
1. The 127,000-square-foot building is five stories tall and will feature sports rehabilitation, research and stimulation services.
2. The facility will serve the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers and other elite athletes, as well as the general public.
3. DMC expects to open the facility, which will also feature a golf simulator, 3-point basketball court as well as a 40-yard track, in 2020.
