David Strothman, MD (Institute for Low Back Pain and Neck Care, Bloomington, Minn.). Dr. Strothman is a spine surgeon with the Institute for Low Back Pain and Neck Care. He has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery and adult scoliosis. He is also a member of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Strothman completes spine-related research. His particular areas of interest include minimally invasive lumbar decompression, degenerative spondylolisthesis and intra-operative three-dimensional imaging.

 

Dr. Strothman earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. His additional training includes an orthopedic spine fellowship with Twin Cities Spine Center in Minneapolis.
