David Barnett, MD (Texas Neurosurgery, Dallas). Dr. Barnett is chief of neurosurgery at Baylor University Medical Center and co-medical director of the Baylor University Neuroscience Center. He also serves as an assistant professor in the neurosurgery department at the Texas A&M Health Science Center, College of Medicine.

 

Dr. Barnett has practiced at Baylor since 1996. He has a special interest in treating herniated disc, brain tumors, cerebral aneurysms and cervical spine surgery. Throughout his career, Dr. Barnett has focused on research and spoken nationally on neurosurgery innovations. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Texas Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

 

Dr. Barnett earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his neurosurgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta.
