Data Breach Affects 4.2M Sutter Health Patients

A stolen computer contained information on roughly 4.2 million Sutter Health patients, according to a health system news release.

The Sacramento, Calif.-based system reported that the company-issued, password-protected, unencrypted desktop computer was stolen from Sutter Medical Foundation administrative offices on the weekend of Oct. 15.
